Daily Practices

The following practices are ones I try to do daily, and if I do I find they change my mindset and the way I show up in life:

Meditate

I aim to sit for 10 minutes twice a day.  I find it helps me have more clarity and presence of mind for the rest of my day.

Gratitude Journal

I try to write a gratitude journal & practice radical gratitude.  When I'm feeling unsettled, I focus on being grateful for the small things in life.

Growth

I recommend having a practice of reading, learning & growing.  These books are ones I read and re-read and have changed how I act and think in the world:

The Four Agreements, Don Miguel Ruiz

Bliss More, Light Watkins

Yamas & Niyamas, Deborah Adele

I also listen avidly to the Rich Roll podcast, and have learnt much wisdom from him.

Mindset

Your mindset is how you experience life.  Know that life is happening for you, not to you. Experiment with practicing appreciation rather than expectation and see where this takes you.
